Fortnight Summary

posted on October 15, 2008

It's been two weeks since we announced Tracklr. Here is a summary of what's the latest and what kept us busy during the time since the announcement.

Shortly after the announcement, few little bugs in our OpenID implementation were found and fixed. If you are following Tracklr on Twitter, you may already know that we fixed them within few hours.

Speaking of Twitter. We added Tracklr's Twitter timeline to our blog and also to the letin page. There is also the latest tweet available at the bottom of the page above the site's footer.

Reports were improved, providing more output data. We added export of a report in CSV format.

Due to a hardware failure we had an unscheduled outage on October 13th. Tracklr was throwing a lot of 500 errors during that period. The problem was quickly fixed by our hosting provider so we were up and running again within 30 minutes.

Today we released a new version that introduces improved user interface. The main change is new menu system which simplifies the previous version. This version also brings fixed photo uploads in your profile. They are going to be handy soon.

Tracklr got covered at the CloudAve.com and added to the MyOpenID.com's OpenID Site Directory!

Thank you for all the feedback! Keep it coming!
